Kamakura is located in Kanagawa prefecture about one hour from Tokyo by JR.

On arriving at Kamakura station, you will find a street named Komachi-Dori on your left.  There are many small shops, like beans, curry bread, rice cakes or cookies. 

There is one more street ahead.  
That will lead you to Tsurugaoka-Hachiman shrine.
The red color Torii gates are beautiful.

At the starting point of approach to the shrine, there is JR Metropolitan Hotel Kamakura.  
Superior twin rooms are 28 square meters wide.   
Rooms are simple and spacious so you can relax.

Breakfast is served on the first floor at Muji café.  
You can choose one of the three menus.  
One is Japanese style with grilled dried fish.
You can enjoy American breakfast, too.  

This hotel is not so gorgeous but comfortable.  
The access to the hotel is the best for the travelers.  
You will arrive here from the Kamakura station by walk in 2 minutes.
