Chiwata Station: The train station closest to the sea/千綿駅: 海に最も近い駅

Some train stations in Japan are located next to the sea.
Chiwata station in Higashisonogi town of Nagasaki prefecture is known as the JR(Japan Railway) station closest to the sea.
Either the rapid train called the “sea side liner” or the local train runs once every hour in both directions.
It’s a popular photogenic place for the photographers because of the beautiful sunset and the old wooden station building built in 1928.
