Here is 7th from the series of Superstitions.

Hide your belly button when you hear the thunder. Otherwise, it will be taken by the thunder deity.

What’s the story behind it?
Summer is the season for thunder and lightning.
Suddenly, the sky becomes dark and rain starts falling as well as the temperature becomes low.
Since the kids might get sick, the parents would like to protect their kids by keeping themselves warm.
This magic phrase will encourage them to hide their belly button with their hands or clothes.

Does that make sense?
Does your country have any superstition related to thunder or lightning?
