Minosaku’s case was no exception.

His mother grieved over his death.
The only thing that she could do was that she prayed for his peace in the next world.
She planted a maple tree, believing that it would console her son’s spirit after she passes away.
It was because she thought her son would be remembered only as a criminal and that no one would visit his grave.

Some local governments put the deer on the list of harmful animals due to eating vegetables in the fields and pay cash rewards for the people who kill them.

三作の母親は大変に嘆き悲しみましたが、来世での幸せを祈ることしかできませんでした。
母は、自分が死んでも息子の霊を慰めてくれるだろうと信じて、楓の木を植えました。
息子は犯罪者として記憶され、誰も彼の墓を訪れないだろうと思ったからです。
奈良の鹿は、依然として神聖な動物として保護されている一方で、時代が変われば、価値観も変わる事例があります。
ある自治体では、鹿は田畑を荒らす有害動物に指定され、駆除すると報奨金を支払っています。
同じ地球に生きる動物だから仲良く暮らしたいですね。
