Umbrella stand/傘立て

You may see a chain of umbrella stands in front of museums and exhibitions’ sites.
Wet umbrellas are not welcome for these facilities.


When you look them closely, you will find keys or numbers to lock/unlock umbrellas. 
It’s good to keep your umbrella properly and safely.
Be careful not to lose your key.
Otherwise, you have to pay a fine.


Even though Japan is known as a safe country, sometimes plastic umbrellas which look same are stolen easily at the convenience stores and event avenues.
