In front of Kokugi-Kan, famous for Sumo, there is a comfortable tiny hotel, named The Gate Hotel Ryogoku.

Tokyo Metropolitan Office has arranged a people’s paradise called Sumida Terrace along the Sumida River.
Walking on the riverside is good exercise for tourists and residents, especially at sunset, when the Tokyo Sky Tree changes the color of the light.
It is also a good experience to get on the river cruise down to Odaiba and see the sunset of Tokyo Tower.

The Gate Hotel Ryogoku is located opposite Kokugi-Kan, which holds sumo matches.  
The smallest guest rooms, called authentic twins, are 21 square meters.
They are small but comfortable.  

The breakfast is good.  
Bread from the bakery near the hotel is crispy and fresh.  
We can choose one of the three main plates.
